I have witnessed the complexities of a person’s life with cancer. The battle within one’s own inner thoughts and anxious minds about the diagnosis, survival probability, and how one would cope through treatment and change is unsettling. Despite one’s best effort, dark days marked by an overwhelming sense of helplessness and despair are not few. Yet, having lived through that roller coaster journey, many of you—my gentle warriors—have awed me with your inner strengths, courage, positive mindset and generosity towards others as you battle with cancer face-on. It is not easy but it has been a fulfilling career journey for me, partnering with you through one of the most emotional time and seeing you triumph over your fears.
Other than performing biopsies & surgeries, my role as a breast surgeon is to thoroughly EVALUATE your breast concerns, EDUCATE you with the right information about your condition, EMBRACE your unique needs, EMPOWER you to take charge of your breast health and ENCOURAGE you through challenging time.
